Entry\/Mid-Level Software Engineer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Full-Time | Philadelphia, PA<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

CAC is seeking Entry\/Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA to support the NSWC (Naval Surface
Warfare Center). We are looking for candidates that can design, develop, and maintain high-quality software
solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional
client experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Follow NSWCPD system engineering processes, ensuring compliance with industry and
    cybersecurity standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Develop and maintain control system software based on detailed technical requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perform testing by creating automated tests and executing formal testing procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Prepare software development plans, instruction manuals, and change documentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Present deliverables during peer reviews and ensure they meet quality standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s and\/or master\u2019s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical
      discipline<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • 0-5 years of experience in Software Development<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience with C#, C++, Java or other object-oriented language<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • SQL experience using any popular relational database management system<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Work with IP-based systems and protocols (TCP\/IP, UDP, Modbus, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Knowledge of professional software engineering standards and best practices for the full software
      development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and
      operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Understanding of version control using Git or SVN<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Preferred Skills (optional)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • Experience in machinery\/industrial controls industry<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Worked with PLCs\/PACs (Rockwell or Siemens)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • In depth understanding of Windows or Linux<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
